We are pleased to offer AAPA Category 1 CEU credits through the American Academy of Physician Associates. Online CME offers a unique opportunity for physician associates/assistants to learn at their own pace and schedule, stay current in topics of interest, and meet requirements for licensure renewal. The Physician Assistants 10-year certification process is divided into five two-year CME cycles. During each two-year cycle, the PA is required to earn 100 CME credits, with at least 50 of those credits being Category 1. The remaining 50 credits can be Category 1, Category 2, or a combination of both. During the 5th two-year renewal cycle (the 9th and 10th year), PA's must also pass the Physician Assistant National Recertifying Exam (PANRE).
