The American Academy of Physician Associates designates Pulmonary Academy for a maximum of 17.0 AAPA Category 1 CEU credits, Sleep Academy for a maximum of 15.0 AAPA Category 1 CEU credits and Critical Care Medicine Academy for a maximum of 22.0 AAPA Category 1 CEU credits. Approval is valid for one year from enrollment. Advanced Practitioners should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation.
Nurse Practitioners may claim Category 1 AAPA credits towards their CE requirements. The AANP recognizes AAPA credits for Pulmonary Academy and Sleep Academy. Polysomnographic Technologists who require certification for continuing education from The Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists (BRPT) should be able to claim AMA credits towards a maximum of 15.0 Continuing Sleep Technology Education credits. Individuals should claim only those credits that he/she actually earned in the educational activity.
