MedStar Health is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) to provide continuing education for the healthcare team.

American Academy of Physician Assistant
The American Academy of Physician Assistant designates Sleep Academy for a maximum of 15.0 AAPA Category 1 CME credits (including up to 6 hours towards pharmacology). Approval is valid for one year from enrollment. PAs should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation. Nurse Practitioners may claim Category 1 AAPA credits towards the CME requirements.
The AAPA recognizes AMA PRA Category 1 credits for Pulmonary Academy. CME may apply to other professions as well – please check with your licensing board.
Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists (BRPT)
The Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists (BRPT) designates Sleep Academy for a maximum of 15.0 Continuing Sleep Technology Education credits. Individuals should claim only those credits that he/she actually earned in the educational activity.
The AANP recognizes AMA PRA Category 1 credits for Pulmonary Academy and AAPA credits for Sleep Academy.
