Continuing Medical Education
In support of improving patient care, this activity has been planned and implemented by MedStar Health and The Pulmonary and Sleep Academy. MedStar Health is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) to provide continuing education for the healthcare team.
Pulmonary Academy was planned by and for the healthcare team, and learners will receive 17.0 Interprofessional Continuing Education (IPCE) credits for learning and change.

The American Academy of Physician Assistant designates Sleep Academy for a maximum of 15.0 AAPA Category 1 CME credits (including up to 6 hours towards pharmacology). Approval is valid for one year from 09/01/2019. PAs should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation. Nurse Practitioners may claim Category 1 AAPA credits towards the CME requirements.
